Re: Nurse call systems
Dear Theo,

Re: Nurse call systems As a design engineer and the director of Medical designs I often encounter challenges with the design of operating theatres, intensive care units, emergency departments and many other patient treatment areas. With the introduction of our new concepts for mobile patient treatment areas, the challenge just got greater as the connectivity between the buildings and our areas has to be wireless.

After researching most of the systems available in the market place, I found that your INDUNA nurse call system has the features and safety protocols that NSW and Queensland Health require when they lease Mobile units.

As with most products available, we examined the entire design and features associated with the system, hardly ever looking at the cost as a unit of measure.

After installing your INDUNA LITE Wireless nurse call system in Cooma Hospital we needed a zone change as per the Code blue protocol; we found your remote access to be and outstanding feature, which now that we are aware of, will not depart from.

The other variation, as you are aware, was that NSW health had changed their requirements to have individual pagers added to their system just days before Christmas. It was a greatly satisfying experience having your team attend site and add those pagers to the system on the last day prior to commissioning.

It is a rare commodity in today’s industry to have such a quick response time, and, knowing that these parts were in stock as well, was a win/win scenario for both Aspen and Medical Designs as we value our relationship with NSW health.

Now that we are now implementing your INDUNA nurse call system into other mobile facilities and understanding more about these and other add-ons available, we are pleased at how enjoyable and easy it is working with your team and in getting so much support as well.

Should you ever need a business product reference do not hesitate in passing on my contact details as we will sponsor your products and services without hesitation. Again, a special thank you from the Medical Designs team.

Please do not hesitate to contact me on the above telephone numbers if you have any questions.

Kind Regards, Sergio Esteves – Managing Director

Masonic Aged Care

November 2015   To whom it may concern   It is with great pleasure that I have been asked to recommend Electrotek Pty Ltd.   I have known Theo Kuppens the owner, professionally for sixteen years. Electrotek continue to provide Emergency Call System component installation and service to Masonic Care Qld aged care facilities in a cost effective, timely and professionally competent manner.   The scope of work undertaken on these projects has varied from design liaison and site installation including a variety of Emergency Call Systems (ECS), Communication, Security, MATV and Access control activities.   The most recent projects being undertaken under my leadership are a complete design and construct package for the upgrade of 5 x Masonic Aged Care facilities in the Brisbane, SE Qld, and Nth Qld regions over the next 2 – 5 years.   Theo and his employees have always displayed a high degree of integrity, responsibility, and ambition. He is definitely a leader rather than a follower. In addition to his excellent organizational skills he has the ability to focus and see a project through to completion, with exceptional end results.   Electrotek Pty Ltd is an asset to the Aged care building community, and I am happy to give them my whole-hearted endorsement.   Sincerely   John Byrne General Manager – Building Projects   Masonic Care – Queensland
