SEDCO Gladstone Light and Buzzer Nurse Call
There are a number of SEDCO Gladstone light and buzzer nurse call systems still installed and working in regional and remote Hospitals and Nursing Home Facilities within Australia.
This SEDCO Gladstone light and buzzer system dates back to the 60’s and 70’s era and has proved to be extremely reliable and robust.
As this SEDCO Gladstone nurse call system is no longer supported and products, especially the corded pendants, are no longer obtainable, Electrotek has designed a replacement a call point which replaces the multi-pin pendant socket with a 6.5mm mono pendant.
By exchanging the old call point with the replacement Electrotek call point, ancillary products such as corded pendants, floor sensor mats, bed exit sensors, under bed beam exit system, etc. can be added without the need to replace the entire nurse call system.
This replacement is a cost effective alternative to a full system upgrade and we would welcome inquiries on how best we can help you increase the life of your SEDCO Gladstone Nurse Call System.
INDUNA Dementia Profiler
The overall design of the INDUNA Dementia Profiler (DEM) has been driven by keeping with the KISS principle of operation and to take out the guess work and complexity of operation.
The INDUNA Dementia Profiler is simple to use and operate by both English and non-English speaking carers and does not require any knowledge of programming or resident dementia needs.
Our research has shown that Dementia Profilers are not often used within RACF’s as the systems installed are often complex to configure and use.
INDUNA’s approach has been to design a Dementia Profiler which is easy to use and operate and have the carers focus on providing care to residents which is their primary function.
